All this Death and Beauty

All this Death and Beauty

All these walks in the moonlit night
All these stories that are told
All these inner struggles as to what is right

Oh where for art our soul
But in our eyes and hands
How is it that we use our intellect
Till we rise above what we understand

There is more eternity in a blade of grass
Than anything that I will ever write
Like that would somehow stop me
From refracting off this light

That I have seen as inspiration
That I have heard in a wise mans song
That I have seen on a teenager
Although there I believe it was a thong

All this Death and beauty

All these tests along our way
All our accomplishments and failures
All this Death and Beauty

That takes our breath away

Hi Neils
Hyram and I were discussing your whereabouts. I read "All this Death and Beauty" - Wonderful poem! Brings memories of the Neils I knew the best. Hyram wants me to give his phone number if you want to call him. 210-882-8169.
