There are worse things in this world
Than to be thought of as an outsider
To be avoided at all costs
There are worse things in this world
That bring about suffering and loss
What of the spiritually bereft
What of the arrogantly blind
What of the man that’s always right
Right the Hell out of his mind
What of the woman who wants
A real man in this world to hold
But she wants it all to come to her
She does not want to have to be bold
What of the young man who rebels
But doesn’t know what he’s for
He only knows what he’s against
And sure is lopsided keeping the score
There are worse things in this world
Than to be thought of as an after thought
To be taken for granted at leisure’s ease
Think of all those who’s self worth is
Totally dependent on whom they please
The agony
The agony of not being able to face
The bleak and unknowable fate of fates
Through which we must all pass
To even begin to know the wisdom of how to
Quietly wait
Neils
